FAQ
How long should I wait before washing my car with soap?
We advise all of our customers not to wash their car for two weeks and let us perform the first wash to make sure the coating was installed and cured correctly.
How long until my car can get wet?
12-24 hours after your vehicle was coated it can be exposed to water. If wet before that time water should be blown off or safely wiped off before it dries on the surface. No water should touch your vehicle period for at least 2 hours in optimal temperatures.
What is the hardness of your ceramic?
Contrary to general belief the hard ceramic is not really the most effective when it comes to protecting your car. Hard ceramic can easily break due the cyclicity of heat and cold conditions applied to the body surface as it becomes a very thin layer of glass when applied.
HOw many layers of ceramic do you apply?
This is also a common misconception when to comes to ceramic. Ceramic is not applied in layers to give it thickness. Actually it’s applied only in three layers with the actual ceramic being the middle layer.
First layer is a base coat, that preps the car surface for ceramic installation. Second layer is the Actual ceramic coat, which protects the car and adheres to the paint and when applied cures to it’s designated thickness no matter how many times it is applied, while the excess is then wiped as it will not cure during the process. Final layer is the over coat which give the ceramic final protection and help with it’s resistance properties.
